Q. Do you have a naturopathic doctor?
A. No, we do not.

Q. What is integrative medicine?
A. Integrative or functional medicine takes a different approach to care by looking at the underlying causes of illness or disease.  It involves a more patient-centered approach, looking at the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.  Integrative providers spend more time with patients, listening to histories and finding the connections between genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease.

Q. What is Bioidentical Hormone Therapy?
A. Hormone replacement therapy for peri-menopausal or post-menopausal women using hormones that are identical to those made by a woman’s body. They are derived from a plant-based source.

Q. Do you offer Testopel for men and women?
A. Yes, we do perform Testopel implants for men and women with low testosterone levels.

Q. Do you provide prenatal care?
A. No, we do not.

Q. Can I get my labs done in the office?
A. Yes, for your convenience we have a phlebotomist and two medical assistants at our office to draw your blood, which is promptly delivered to the lab.

Q. How long do I have to fast for a fasting blood draw?
A. 12 hours before the appointment.

Q. Can I have coffee when I’m fasting?
A. No, you can not eat or drink anything except for water.

Q. Can I take my regular medications while I’m fasting?
A. Yes, take your regular, prescribed medications. However, refrain from taking supplements during the fast.

Q. What are your prices?
A. Our prices vary depending on the complexity and length of your appointment. We can not give an estimate until the provider has seen you and coded the appointment. Payment is expected at the time of your appointment.

Q. Why hasn’t my prescription been sent?
A. It can take up to 3 business days for prescriptions to go through the clinic to the pharmacy.

Q. Do you provide couples counseling?
A. No, Marsha is not accepting new patients for family counseling and works with individuals. Referrals for other providers that help couples and families can be provided.

Q. Do you provide youth counseling?
A. No, Marsha works with the adult population. Referrals may be provided for other resources in our community.
